RULES

1.    The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition/) (the “ Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to ‘Efteling Theme Park Resort" (the “Competition") which will run from Monday 11th February 2019 to Sunday 17th February 2019 on Heart Kent (the “Radio Station”).

2.    Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. 

Details of the Competition:

3.    To enter the competition an Entrant must go online to www.heart.co.uk/, register their details and answer a multiple choice question. Online entry will open at 00:00 on Monday 11th February 2019 and close at 23:59 on Sunday 17th February 2019.

4.    One winner will be selected at random from all correct and valid entries.

5.    The winner will be notified on Monday 18th February 2019 via the telephone or email to confirm their win.

Eligibility:

6.    Entrants must be age 18 or over.

7.    Entrants and family members must have a valid passport within 6 months validation after the date of departure from the UK.

8.    Both adults and up to 3 children must all be immediate family (extended family e.g cousins or aunties or friends of the winners are excluded).

9.    Entry is restricted to one entry per person. Multiple entries will be removed

10.  Entrants must live within the following Kent postcodes to enter CT, ME TN, BR, DA

Prize: 

11.  One winner will receive the prize of a break to Efteling Theme Park Resort in Holland for two adults and up to three children (children are up to the age of 12) including travel with Eurotunnel.

12.  The Eurotunnel crossing will be departing from Folkestone and travelling to Calais, then by winners own vehicle to Efteling Theme Park Resort, where there will be a two-night stay at the Loonsche Land Hotel and return Eurotunnel back from Calais, France to Folkestone, UK.

13.  The prize consists of the following elements;

  • Two nights accommodation staying in the Loonsche Land Hotel including Breakfast for 2 x Adults and up to 3 x Children. Further information regarding the room facilities can be found here https://www.efteling.com/en/loonsche-land/hotel/rooms/5-persons

  • Travel via Folkestone on the Eurotunnel then by car to Efteling (Winner to use own vehicle)

  • Special early entrance to the park. The winner will be supplied park passes which will be supplied on arrival at Efteling

  • €200 Efteling Gift card to spend at the park throughout the stay

  • £100 towards fuel

14.  The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable, has no cash alternative and has no cancellation value once booked. Nor can you add extra members to the journey even at additional costs.

15.  The two adults and up to three children must all be immediate family. Extended family e.g. cousins or aunties or friends of the winners are excluded.

16.   Winner and guests will need to provide Heart with a copy of their passport details and vehicle registration, make and model for us to pass onto Eurotunnel to arrange the transport ahead of your travel. Scheduled crossing times can be subject to changes, due to Eurotunnel's discretion, but the winner will be notified in advance of the crossing if any changes are made.

17.  The crossing on the Eurotunnel will be from Folkestone to Calais and then Calais back to Folkestone.

18.  Winner must confirm and book their prize with Heart before 31st March 2019 and the prize must be taken by 31st December 2019 subject to availability of Efteling Theme Park and Eurotunnel.

19.  Winner and guests should allow adequate time to board the Eurotunnel, failure to board on time may result in winners missing their opportunity to go on the trip as we will not be able to hold up the crossing. It is the responsibility of the winner to get to and from their trip within a reasonable time.

20.  There are no luggage restrictions however please be mindful that your trip to Efteling is only 2 nights and we advise to wear comfortable clothing and footwear.

21.  Global will provide the winner with holiday insurance for the duration of their trip.

22.  The winner’s full details will be provided to Efteling and their marketing team who may wish to get in touch to discuss your Efteling Experience.

23.  Global reserves the right to substitute the prize.

24.    For the avoidance of doubt, in the event that (i) the Prize cannot be taken by a winning Entrant for any reason beyond the control of Global or Efteling Limited, (ii) the Prize is returned as undeliverable, (iii) the winning Entrant fails to respond to a Prize notification within 28 days or (iv) the winning Entrant declines the Prize the winning Entrant will be disqualified and an alternate winning Entrant may be selected.
